June 2025: Congratulations to Dr. Gogulapati Sreedurga: Gogulapati Sreedurga’s Ph.D. Thesis entitled “Exploring Fairness and welfare Maximization in Participatory Budgeting” is selected by the Department of Computer Science and Automation for a Commendation Certificate for the academic year 2023-24. This is recognition of the outstanding work carried out as a part of the thesis work. Dr Sreedurga is currently a DeepMind Academic Fellow at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, UK.

May 10, 2025: The Game Theory Lab conducts a workshop on creating algorithms and apps agricultural crops, with special focus on paddy on May 10, 2025. The workshop report is available here.

March 5, 2025: Narahari delivers a keynote address on “Algorithms for Modern agriculture with Artificial Intelligence” in the ACM India Annual Event at Coimbatore on March 5, 2025. A video recording of the same is available here.

January 9, 2025: Honourable Prime Minister formally  releases the data collected by the GenomeIndia project of the Department of Biotechnology in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on January 9, 2025.  Honourable Prime Minister’s message here.  Y. Narahari happens to be a national coordinator of this project which involves 20 research institutions and national laboratories in India.
