Game Theory and Mechanism Design have emerged as important foundations for e-commerce and e-business. There will be a post workshop tutorials for Master and Doctoral students on Dec 17th, 2003 at the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on the topics of Game Theory and Mechanism Design and their applications for the design of electronic markets. The tutorials offered by Dinesh Garg (dgarg(at)csa.iisc.ernet.in) and 'Kamesh' Kameshwaran S ( kameshn(at)csa.iisc.ernet.in) will introduce important concepts, bring out the fundamental results, and explain important applications of game theory and mechanism design in e-commerce and e-business.
