Epoch making recent advances in computer systems, applications, and networking technologies, along with their widespread diffusion have completely revolutionized every aspect of human endeavor. In particular, these collective advances in the field of Information Technology (IT) have radically transformed the economics of traditional business models and are in the process of giving birth to new business systems driven by new value drivers and strategies. Additionally, the advent of the Internet has further transformed business operations and brought into prominence the science of logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain management, dealing with operations management across multiple enterprises comprising the supply chain. The universal reach of the Internet has made possible the ubiquitous, uninterrupted, and opportune flow of information at economically viable prices /costs, allowing integrated, informed and intelligent decision-making and enabling greater efficiencies within and across the supply chain.

The key objective of this workshop is to provide a state-of-the-art research and technology update in the areas of manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management to academics, students, and industry professionals. This workshop will bring together some of the finest researchers, technologists, and practioners in these areas, to present their perspectives. Thought leaders and accomplished researchers from across the world will congregate to share their findings, unearth path-breaking approaches to shared problems, and discover common research interests in the closely inter-related areas of supply chain management, IT enabled logistics, E-business, and manufacturing automation.
