In particular, these collective advances in the field of Information Technology (IT) have radically transformed the economics of traditional business models and are in the process of giving birth to new business systems driven by new value drivers and strategies. Additionally, the advent of the Internet has further transformed business operations and brought into prominence the science of logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain management, dealing with operations management across multiple enterprises comprising the supply chain.
