Current Position: MTech CSA Coursework

Anand is currently pursuing his MTech (Computer Science and Automation) from IISc Bangalore (22-24). He has completed his BE (IT) from Pune University (18-22). He has been a web developer in the past, and currently has developed a keen interest in the field of ML. Currently he’s working under Prof. Y. Narahari to integrate PREPARE with ACRE.

Current Position: MTech CSA

I am Prashant Vithule, currently pursuing an MTech in Computer Science and Automation (CSA) at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I have done my BTech from Govt. College of Engineering, Amravati (2018-2022). I have an interest in ML/AI. I am currently working on CROP-S (CROp Planning System) to determine an assignment of crop acreages to districts to maximize the farmers’ profits while simultaneously ensuring required crop security levels for each district. My hobbies include Playing cricket and reading newspapers.

Ankur Garg

Current Position: MTech CSA

I’m Ankur Garg, currently enrolled in the MTech program for Artificial Intelligence at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I completed my BTech at NIT Agartala from 2016 to 2020. I have a keen interest in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and I’m currently focused on the application of Language Models in Agriculture. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess and indulging in novels.

I am pursuing M.Tech in Computer Science at IISc. I completed my B.Tech (CS) from Mumbai University. My research interests lie in the domain of generative AI. Currently, I am working on the development of Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored for Indian agriculture at the Game Theory Lab, IISc. With a keen focus on societal impact, I aspire to bridge the gap between data, AI technologies and their real-world applications.
