Dr. Manoj Kumar Patil

I am Manojkumar Patil, currently working as a Project Assistant at the Game Theory Lab in the Department of Computer Science and Automation (CSA), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. I have completed my Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore, and M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU), Hisar. My research interests include agricultural prices, market efficiency, and applied economic analysis, with a focus on data-driven approaches to strengthen agricultural markets and policies. I am passionate about translating research into actionable insights that can improve the resilience and livelihoods of farming communities.

Dr. Priyanka V

I am Dr. Priyanka V is currently working as a Research Associate at the Game Theory Lab in the Department of Computer Science and Automation (CSA), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. I hold a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore in 2024, and M.Sc. in Agriculture from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar in 2020. My research interests lie in interdisciplinary applications of Game Theory and Optimization in Indian Agricultural context, with a constant focus on automation and decision support for farmers. I am passionate about leveraging various literature, models and computational tools existing to address the dynamic challenges in agricultural systems and improve the livelihoods of farming communities.

Vedant Balasubramaniam

My name is Vedant Balasubramaniam, currently pursuing an MTech in the CSA Department at IISc. I hold a BTech in Computer Engineering from SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai. Over the past year, I have undertaken both AI and Systems courses at IISc, gaining substantial experience in optimizing large language models for efficient inference. I intend to leverage this expertise in my MTech project under the guidance of Professor Narahari at the Game Theory Lab.

Piyush Kumar

I am currently pursuing MTech in Computer Science and Automation at IISc Bangalore (2024–2026). I completed my BTech from Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be university), Haridwar. I secured AIR 1 in GATE CSE 2024. My interests span across machine learning, artificial intelligence, and generative models. Currently, I am working on Agentic AI applications in agriculture field under the guidance of Prof. Y. Narahari.

Atif Khan

I am currently pursuing an M.Tech in Computer Science and Automation at IISc Bangalore (2024–2026). I hold a B.E in Computer Science and have a research interest in the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi-Agent Systems, and Adversarial AI. My recent work involves studying robustness and alignment in LLMs, including defense against adversarial attacks.

Currently, I’m working on improving LLM safety and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for high-stakes domains like law. I’m also exploring different types of adversarial attacks on llm.

Outside academics, I enjoy playing sports and reading books.

Arpit Mishra

I am currently pursuing  M.Tech in Computer Science and Automation at IISc Bangalore (2024–2026). I secured AIR 17 in GATE CSE 2024 . I have completed my B.Tech from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in 2024.

My academic interests include machine learning, artificial intelligence, and systems. I am presently working as an MTS intern at Nutanix, and will be exploring AI applications in agriculture as part of my research at IISc under the mentorship of Prof. Y. Narahari.

Outside of academics, I enjoy playing sports and staying active in my free time.

S. Thandava Sesha Talpa Sai

I am Thandava, currently pursuing an M.Tech in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at IISc Bangalore (2024–2026). I completed my Bachelor’s in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from NIT Rourkela, where my project focused on Computational Electronics. I have a deep interest in applying deep tech to the fields of health and agriculture. I secured AIR 1 in GATE Biomedical Engineering (2023) and AIR 40 in Agricultural Engineering (2024). Presently under the guidance of Prof. Y. Narahari, I am working on the design of carbon markets for small and marginal Indian farmers using tools from Game Theory and Machine Learning. In my free time, I enjoy playing the flute, listening to Carnatic music, and playing Frisbee.

Rohit P Suresh

Rohit Suresh completed his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from PES University. Since June 2024, he has been working under Prof. Narahari at the Game Theory Lab, focusing on cooperative game theory solution concepts for explainability in machine learning, with applications in the agricultural domain.

His research interests include game theory, machine learning, and socially impactful research.

Kodur Sai Vinay Sathvik

I am K. S. Vinay Sathvik, currently pursuing the final year of my B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at BNM Institute of Technology, Bangalore. My academic background and projects primarily span Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. I am presently working as a Research Intern at the Game Theory Lab, IISc Bangalore, under the guidance of Prof. Y. Narahari.

As part of the PREPARE project, I am focusing on enhancing and evolving agricultural price prediction models using transformer architectures and large language model approaches.

Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the keyboard and reading books.
